CBSE, Central Board of Secondary Education has released the notification for all the female students studying in the CBSE affiliated schools. According to this notification, CBSE is offering a chance to all the female students who gained 60% marks in 10th Standard to enjoy the scholarship from the board. This notification includes the Last date of application along with the certain eligibility criteria for the scholarship.
CBSE Scholarship Eligibility
CBSE is offering the scholarship to the female students who have secured 60% marks and 6.2 CGPA in their X exams this year. The female students who study at the CBSE schools with fees, not more than Rs. 1,500 are considered eligible for the scholarship. This scholarship is offered by CBSE board to encourage the female candidates to continue their studies. Government and education department of the country has been continuously trying to help encourage the females in the country to study. With the ultimate motto of helping the girl child study in the country, CBSE has offered these scholarships to the female students.
This CBSE scholarship is not only offered to the female students of CBSE board of the country, but this scheme is also extended to the NRI female students who have been studying in the schools that have their fee stated as no more than Rs.6,000. This scholarship is designed to help female students in the country to follow their studies.
Important Dates Regarding the CBSE Scholarships
Application form for the CBSE scholarship has been availed to all the students on the official website of CBSE. These application forms will be available until 15th November and all the students who want to apply for this scholarship can download their forms from there. The last date for applying for the CBSE scholarship is 30th November 2017. For applying, all the students need to key in their roll number and certificate number online.
